The Loot Junkies are Chris Deitner and Russell Hames, a husband-and-wife acoustic duo playing original songs alongside covers from the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
We keep it simple. Acoustic guitar, shared vocals, and songs that still mean something. Some are fun. Some hit a little harder. All of them are chosen for a reason.

We played one song at our wedding. Then we kept going.
In front of family and friends, we sang Only You by Yaz. Just one song, but it stuck with us. It felt real and a vulnerable, and that feeling is still at the center of what we do.

Russell plays acoustic guitar and writes the originals. Chris and Russell both take lead vocals and trade off throughout the set, with harmonies that come and go depending on the song.
Together, we build sets that move. Light to heavy, familiar to unexpected, without losing the thread.
As theater majors, we both know how to work with and for audience.
